Hey, Moggy, I resemble that remark! We prefer to be known as Gun Nuts. Like Grape Nuts, but even more crunchy, and more likely to break one's teeth if not properly moistened.

I think you people should understand that I'm autistic enough, and old enough, that I should not be required to put up with weird sudden changes, at least when it comes to public social relations; what the Romans used to call _mores_.

P.s. If y'all can rationally convince me that any particular change really is for the better, I'll go with that, though I'll be right uncomfortable while said change is going on. Maybe I'll feel better after it's all over, and after I will have had a chance to adapt to it.

Well, here I am. I'm amazed that this works, after all of my failed attempts to sign up with LJ over the last coupla years. Maybe now I can communicate with some people with whom I'd like to do that.
